Definitions

Station Manager - A volunteer who is registered to be at Day Camp all five days. This person will be in charge of a station all week and will be assisted by station volunteers. (You MUST contact Registrar to become a Station Manager)  

5 Day Den Leader & 5 Day Co-Leader- A volunteer who is registered to be at Day Camp all five days. This person will be in charge of a den of 12 to 15 boys for the week and will be assisted by den volunteers.

Station Volunteer - A registered volunteer who is signed up for 1 or more days to help the Station Manager.

Den Volunteer - A registered volunteer who is signed up for 1 or more days to the the Den leader.

Visitor - A person who is visiting Day Camp that is not a registered volunteer. All Visitors must stop at the front desk to sign on and sign out from Day Camp.

Pack Coordinator - The adult volunteer in each Cub Scout Pack who is responsible for checking Registration and Medical forms for completeness, answering Day Camp questions or directing questions to the correct Staff member and for collecting the correct tuition amount from each family coming to Camp, and for sending their Pack's total tuition to the Registrars, in the form of a pack check.
We may not accept individual checks, money orders or cash.
Pack Coordinators are required for any Pack that wants to send boys to Day Camp. 

Tagalongs - Siblings of Cub Scouts attending Camp, who attend our Tagalong program while their parents are volunteering at Day Camp. Tagalongs must be 4 years or older and must be potty trained.
Children may only attend Tagalongs while a parent or guardian is on site and volunteering at a Day Camp activity.
Camp Registrars must have a completed registration form and $15.00 per day tuition payment on file for each tagalong before Day Camp begins. No drop-ins.

Volunteer - Anyone over the age of 14 who wants to come help at Camp. This can include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or grandparents!
Volunteers who are still in school may ask for a letter detailing the days and times that they volunteered at Day Camp.
. No child under the age of 14 who is not a registered Boy Scout is allowed to volunteer at Day Camp, due to insurance regulations.

Youth Volunteers - Youth ages 14 that are not  registered Scouts or any registered Boy Scout or Crew Member. 

BSA Registration - Registration required by BSA for all Day Camp Administration and Staff that includes a criminal Background Check (if you are getting the bi-monthly Scouting magazine, you are BSA Registered).

Youth Protection Training (YP) - BSA required training for all Day Camp Administration and adult Volunteers designed to ensure that all BSA activities are properly supervised and safe.

Day Camp Den - a group of 12 to 15 Cub Scouts.

Scout Rank - BSA ranks for Cub Scouts are Tiger, Wolf, Bear,  Webelo I's or Webelo II's. These are the badges of achievement that Cub Scouts work toward during their time in their Den or Pack.

All Scouts automatically increase one rank as of June 1st, each year. This means that, as of June 1st, Tigers become Wolves, Wolves become Bears, etc.
