…Incoming intergalactic message from the Starship National Pike…
The Cub Scout crew of the Starship National Pike has reported great adventures and fun exploring the stars of our galaxy. The Commander and First Officer wish to remind our crew of the following important information
Absentee/ Late Arrival Hotline: If your Cub Scout will be late or absent from camp at anytime during the week, please call: 410-206-9709.
WEBELOS II NIGHT: Wednesday June 24, 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a special event for 2nd-year Webelos scouts and parents (and only Webelos II scouts) arranged by Boy Scouts belonging to the Order of the Arrow scout honor society. Webelos II scouts and their parents will have a special opportunity to shoot on the BB and Archery Ranges and enjoy a Scout campfire dinner and program. Meal tickets are available at the Day Camp Administration Desk. (This event will take place after camp is closed and all campers are dismissed).
FAMILY CAMPFIRE NIGHT: All Cub Scout Day Camp families are invited to join us Thursday evening, June 25, for a special evening of food and family fun aboard the Starship National Pike. Join us beginning at 6:00 p.m. for a picnic-style dinner along with shooting on the Archery and BB ranges. This will be followed at 7:30 p.m. with an evening campfire program of fun for the whole family- much of it provided by our own Cub Scouts. If you’d prefer to have dinner elsewhere, please come for the campfire program starting at about 7:30 p.m.
Meal tickets are required for dinner and cost just $7.50 per person for a catered picnic dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, side dishes and drinks and may be purchased at the Administration Desk until the campfire- unless they are sold out ahead of time (only 200 tickets available). Please note: Camp will close normally at 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and all Cub Scouts must be signed-out.
Visiting Camp: If you would like to visit camp, you may do so only by checking in at the Administration Desk in the Main Exhibition Hall. Friday June 26 will be Family Visitors Day. Cub Scout family members are invited to bring a lunch and accompany their Cub Scout around Camp- but please check in at the Administration Desk first!!!
